A hearbreaking video, showing the suffering and neglect of Nigerian soldiers fighting Boko Haram in the North East went viral on social media.
The video showed several soldiers surrounding three of their colleagues who they say fainted due to lack of food and water.
One of them narrated how over 70 soldiers fainted due to lack of water. He said that they had spent up to three days at their location without water and food.
Another soldier requested that their message be passed to President Muhammadu Buhari. He stated that it would be wrong for them to die due to lack of water after surviving Boko Haram.
The video sparked outrage among Nigerians. One crooked official certainly must be sitting on the money budgeted for the soldeirs. What a country!
