A former governor of Niger State, Abdulkadir Kure, is dead. He died on Sunday, aged 60, in a German hospital, where he had been receiving medical attention since his arrival three weeks ago.
His death was confirmed by the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state, Tanko Beji. He described his death as sad but said, “we cannot query God”.
Kure was Niger State governor from 1999 to 2007.
