
German international, Mezut Ozil has told Arsenal London that his future at Emirates is tied with that of the manager, Arsene Wenger, who signed him from Real Madrid in 2013.Ozil, who won the world cup in Brazil with Germany, told German football magazine, KICKERS: “The club knows that I am at Emirates only because of Wenger, who bought me and whose trust I enjoy. The club also knows that I want to have a clear picture about the future of the manager.”
The contract of the 28-year-old midfielder expires in 2018 and up till now he has been reluctant to recommit his future.
But he says he feels at home in Emirates and have signalled his readiness to stay. “The Fans want that I stay, now it is up to the club,” he said
