Ex Bayern star and German TV (ARD) football expert, Mehmet Scholl has separated from his wife, Jessica after about ten years of marriage. Scholl had married her after many years of friendship in 2007 when he retired as a professional footballer.
According to the German newspaper Bild, the former German international has already packed out of the matrimonial home as the couple agreed at the end of December to go separate ways.
The marriage was blessed with two daughters, Polli (10) and Josefine (8). No reason was given for the separation.
It would be the second time Scholl’s marriage will fail. Before Jessica, he was once married with Susanne Pfannendörfer. The Marriage had lasted between 1993-1996 and he had with her a son, Lucas (20). He is now also playing football in Germany’s fourth league division.
