Nigeria’s teenage sensation, Ademola Lookman had a dream debut as Everton exposed Guardiola’s Man City in a 4-0 destruction at Goodison Park, with four different players being on the scoreboard.
But it was Romelu Lukaku who first sounded a note of warning with a brilliant opening goal in the 34th minute.
Kevin Mirallas, Tom Davies and Ademola Lookman scored in that order in the second half to make sure the afternoon was miserable enough for Guardiola and his boys.
It was a dream debut for Ademola Lookman, netting only minutes into his Everton debut. He swept home from a tight angle with his first touch, sending a shot through Claudio Bravo’s legs.
The former Charlton player could not believe what happened as he ran in celebration. And I guess the feeling must have been the same for Manchester City fans. Their team have been demolished 4-0.
City are now 5th on the League Table.
