Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani Joins APC, Announces PDP’s Obituary

Former Senate President, Ken Nnamani, a member of opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has joined the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

Mr. Nnamani on Sunday registered as a member of the APC at his country home in Amechi-Uwani, in Enugu South Local Government Area of Enugu State at the commencement of the party’s re-registration exercise in Enugu State and other parts of the South-East.
His registration was witnessed by APC Vice Chairman, South-East, Chief Emma Eneukwu, Director General of Voice of Nigeria, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, chairman of Enugu State chapter of the party, Dr. Ben Nwoye, and the chairman of the registration committee, Rev. Tony Ibeabuchi.

A broom was presented to the former Senate President after he registered.

Nnamani is presently  the head of the Electoral Reform Committee set up by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He spoke after he received his ‎membership card from the APC’s national registration committee, saying impunity and undemocratic practices killed the PDP.

The former Senate President declared that the PDP dead, unproductive and unprofitable.
