BREAKING NEWS: Appeal Court Denies Immediate Stay Of Lower Court Ruling On Trump Travel Ban

US President Donald Trump suffered another major legal setback as the 9th Circuit Appeal Court declined immediate stay of execution of the ruling of a federal judge that temporarily suspended Trump’s travel ban on seven Muslim countries.

The nationwide restraining order was issued by Seattle US District Judge James Robart pending a full review of a complaint filed by Washington state Attorney General Bob Ferguson.

Trump had mocked the judgement, saying the decision of “the so-called judge” would be set aside on appeal. Consequently, the US Justice Dept appealed against the order stopping Trump’s travel ban.

Just after midnight on Sunday the US Justice Department filed an appeal asking to pause the sweeping decision that temporarily halted enforcement of President Donald Trump’s travel ban nationwide, saying in a strongly-worded filing that blocking the travel ban “harms the public” and “second-guesses the President’s national security judgment.”

However, the appeal court Court denied an immediate emergency motion request for an administrative stay of an injunction to stop the enforcement of President Donald Trump’s nationwide travel ban. The court asked both sides to file legal briefs to enable it reach a substantive decision.

With that appeal unsuccessful, the order of “the so-called judge” remains law through-out America, with the effect that Trump Travel ban will fail to apply for the time being.

Already, major carriers are taking passengers from those seven countries captured in Trump’s ban to the United States, provided they have valid entry visas.
