Tonto Dikeh Emotionally Bares Her Heart Over Her Failed Marriage To Churchill (VIDEO)

Star Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh has emotionally bared her heart as she spoke about her failed marriage to Oladunni Churchill, who she regretted ended up humiliating her. She said that only love stopped her from walking away from the marriage a long time ago.

Tonto claimed she loved her husband with all her whole heart and never wanted to give up easily.

In a bare-all video interview with Azuka Ogujiuba, published on Youtube, Tonto said she left her matrimonial home with nothing, despite all the lies being unleashed against her. She also emotionally disclosed that she suffered domestic abuse in her marriage. This she supported with pictures.

“First of all, I’d like to say that this interview is not to discredit my husband or rather my ex-husband in anyway… It’s a bitter experience. Being here is not easy,” she said.

“The domestic violence is real. It’s real. How I lived to suffer it and go through it over and over again, I do not understand.”

But Tonto stated that she stayed back because of the love she had for her estranged husband.

“I stayed back in my marriage, not because of my child. I stayed because I was doing it for myself, because I loved my husband with all of my heart. I stayed because he begged me to stay a couple of times. I stayed because I just didn’t want to give up. I didn’t want to give up on the marriage just like that.

“People change, I changed… My husband has humiliated me so much,” Tonto regretted.

She also debunked the allegation by her husband that she pushed her mother-in-law down when she confronted her with her smoking during pregnancy. A crying Tonto appealed to her mother-in-law, as a woman, to come out and say that it is a lie.

Tonto called Churchill an abuser and said she took her son away from the abusing environment so that he would not grow up to be an abuser. She advised women who find themselves in abusive marriage to seek help.

She revealed that her rip was broken by a violent Churchill and that she can no longer hear with one of her ears due to the abuse she suffered in his hands.
