The Chief Executive Officer, Chocolate City Records, Audu Maikori, who was rearrested in Abuja on Friday, is sharing a cell with detained herdsmen at the Gabasawa Police Station, Kaduna State.
A source at the police station told the Punch that Maikori would have been charged to court immediately but the police deliberately refused initiate the prosecution process.
His family and friends are barred from seeing him, the source said
The case had been transferred to the Attorney General of Kaduna State and that the Chocolate City boss would be arraigned on Monday. Maikori is charged with incitement and sharing fake information.
The Kaduna Police Public Relations Officer, Aliyu Usman’s has not responded to inquiries over Maikori’s sharing of cell with herdsmen.
