
A Committee Clerk in the Nigerian House of Representatives, Mohammed Shuaibu slumped and died at the National Assembly on Monday.
He was said to have slumped at the NASS Annexe and brought to the Clinic in the White House, but could not be resuscitated.
The deceased reportedly drove himself to Abuja from Zaria on Sunday, and also to work in the morning before his sudden death.
The Chairman of the committee, Mr. Mohammed Monguno has confirmed the death of his clerk.
Monguno mourned him, saying that his dedication to duty would be missed.
“He was a hard working officer, who was deployed in the committee about one year ago.”
Shuaibu was aged about 55years and according to the Director of Information and Publications at the National Assembly, Mr. Dibal Ishaku his body has been taken back to Zaria.
