The mother of Dr. Allwell Orji, who reportedly jumped into the Lagos Lagoon on the Third Mainland Bridge on Thursday told the Nigeria Police that the body recovered by marine policemen was not that of her son.
This was disclosed by the spokesperson for the Zone 2 Police Command, SP Dolapo Badmos.
She said, “The mother has come to identify the body recovered, but she said the deceased was not her son.”
Recall that it was reported on Sunday that a Nigerian medical doctor jumped into the lagoon from third mainland bridge after asking his driver to stop and park.
