CHECKPOINTCHARLEY has been informed by a National Assmebly source that Senator Dino Melaye is expected to appear before the Senate Ethics Committee later today (Monday) over alleged certificate forgery.
Recall that there has been a war of words between the senator and online news platform, SaharaReporters that had reported last week that Melaye did not graduate from the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) as he claims.
It alleged that Senator Melaye bribed his Head of Department (HOD) to forge his transcript.
The senator, representing Kogi West, has continued to deny the allegation.
