Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha, on Monday fancied himself as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, saying he prefers the position to being a state governor.
Mr. Okorocha disclosed his ambition to journalists in Owerri, the state capital.
But he however said that he would not challenge President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019 if the latter decides to seek a second term.
“Governor does not fit me. What fits me is president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. I will not contest against Buhari,” Okorocha said.
