Olumide Bakare, 65, Nollywood actor is dead. He died in the early hours of Saturday.
Bakare, who has been reportedly sick for over a year was discharged from the University College Hospital (UCH) last year after he was said to be diagnosed with a respiratory disorder problem.
The popular Ibadan-based actor and former NTA staff, also known as Chief Koko on the due to his prominet role in TV series, ‘Koko Close’ some years back, had been battling ill-health since three years.
His death has been confirmed by actor Saidi Balogun.
“Yes, it is true Olumide Bakare is dead. He died on his way to his hospital.”
“When I called his number, his personal assistant picked his phone and told me he was dead.
“That’s how much I can say for now,” Balogun told the press.
