BREAKING: Guardiola Ends Season Without Trophy As Arsenal Face Chelsea In Wembley Final

It is now almost certain that Manchester City’s new coach, Pep Guardiola will end his first year in charge without a silverware after six times winners of the prestigious FA Cup Arsenal came back from a goal down at Wembley stadium to win 2-1 in extra-time.

Chile international Alexis Sanchez grabbed the winner for the Gunners in the 101st minute after Montreal had cancelled Sergio Aguero’s opener eighteen minutes from time with a fabulous drop-shot volley.

In the first semi-final played on Saturday, league leaders Chelsea ruthlessly dismissed a brilliant Tottenham side 4-2 to book a place in the final.

Chelsea will now play their bitter London rivals, Arsenal as they chase a double.

Guardiola’s Man City, having been knocked out in the Champions League and now in the FA Cup, and with the league title beyond their reach, they will end the year without a title. City are 11 points behind fly-away leaders Chelsea in the Premier League.
