The seven Nigerians who lost their lives while watching the Red Devils’ Europa League against Anderlecht will be honoured by Manchester Utd when they play against Swansea at Old Trafford this weekend.
In a twitter post on Friday, the club said it would remember the dead fans when they host Swansea City on Sunday.
Recall that the Nigerian fans had died when a transformer near the viewing centre where they were watching the match exploded twice. A high tension wire dropped on the structure built with zinc. Seven fans got electrocuted.
