Despite reports about President Muhammadu Buhari resuming yesterday and meeting with Minister of Justice and Attorney-general of the federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami, he was again absent at a meeting of the Federal Executive Council which still is ongoing at the Presidential Villa, Abuja. Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo is presiding over the meeting which started at about 11am. It is the third time Prof. Osinbajo will be presiding over the meeting in recent times.
This is coming barely hours after Buharis’s wife, Aisha claimed that her husband’s sickness is not as bad as being speculated.
Unconfirmed rumours have it that there are plans to fly the president back to England to continue with his medical treatment.
If Buhari stays away from his duties as president, then we don’t need to consult an oracle that all is not well and that he is not getting better, a source said.
