Terror group Boko Haram has released more  of the Chibok high school girls who were abducted April 2014.

A top military source, who spoke to the online news platform SaharaReporters, said another 82 have been freed. According to the source, the release of the 80 abducted school girls followed further negotiations between the Islamist group and the government of President Muhammadu Buhari.

The 82 girls, who have regained their freedom, are said to be currently in Banki town in Borno state – awaiting airlift to an undisclosed destination.

About 300 girls were abducted from their dormitories in 2014 as they prepared to write their SSS (final) exams.

Recall that 21 of them had been released last October after negotiations between Boko Haram and the government. Two other girls were found separately. 50 of the kidnapped Chibok girls have regained their freedom, if you add those who escaped on the night they were forcibly taken from their school.
