The newly freed 82 Chibok girls, who were swapped for Boko Haram terrorists on Saturday by the Nigerian government of President Muhammadu Buhari, have arrived the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This was made known on Sunday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina on his Twitter handle, @FemAdesina.

“82 Chibok girls now in Abuja. Received on behalf of the President at the airport by Chief of Staff, Alhaji Abba Kyari. Congrats Nigeria,” Adesina wrote.

The girls will be officially received later by President Buhari.
