With their principal away on an idenfinite medical leave in the United Kingdom, idle media aides to President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday insulted the Nigerian people by engaging in cheap propaganda in a much publicized media briefing of state house correspondents.
Instead of updating Nigerians on the health condition of their president, who has been away for quite sometime, Buhari’s media aides, Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina, joined by the SSA on Media and Publicity to the Acting President, Laolu Akande embarked on the frivolity of boasting that if another presidential election were to be held today, President Buhari would still win like he did in 2015.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu and Co said this while addressing State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
According to the gospel by Shehu, the confidence reposed in Buhari by ordinary Nigerians had remained unshaken because the President, according to him, is doing what they want.
