Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe has said she is in the United Kingdom to see a face surgeon over injuries she suffered after she was allegedly battered by her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry.
Aigbe disclosed this on Thursday through an Instagram post, saying she is in the UK for facial uplift after her “pain, anguish and trauma in the name of marriage”.
She had accused Gentry of physically abusing her throughout their marriage.
But husband denies the allegation. He argued that she would have walked out of the marriage long ago if her accusation were true.
The actress, who had shared photos of results of a brain scan, which showed that she suffered multiple fractures on her skull, added another twist to the marriage drama though the Instagram post.
She wrote: “In the UK to see an Oral and Maxilloficial Surgeon…. No woman should go through these much pain, anguish and trauma all in the name of marriage.”
