The Senator representing Kogi West in the Nigerian Senate, Dino Melaye has asked the governor of his state, Yahaya Bello, who he recalled was a thief and fraudster as a child and youth to resign as governor or be impeached by the Kogi House of Assembly. The Senator was reacting to Bello’s voter card scandal.
The Independent National Electoral Commission had accused the governor of registering twice for voter card in a breach of the provisions of the Electoral Act.
In the video, Senator Melaye told the story of Bello’s troubled childhood and youth, during which he allegedly stole people’s rams and chicken by first killing them with his catapult. And how the governor also “survived” at the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, ABU, by printing fake meal tickets.
