Mr. Garba Durbunde, representing Sumaila/Takai federal constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives has been kidnapped along Kaduna-Jere Road on Tuesday while on his way to Kano from Abuja.
CHECKPOINTCHARLEY gathers that the kidnappers have contacted Durbunde’s family. Though the leadership of Nigeria’s lower house of parliament is yet to respond to text messages respecting Durbunde’s abduction.
