A video has surfaced online showing operatives of the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team, IRT, who finally succeeded in arresting Nigeria’s most wanted kidnapper, Evans in Lagos, popping champagne over what they described as a major success in the war against kidnapping and crime generally.
The elated officers are seen in the clip drinking, singing and dancing.
Evans was arrested in his Magodo Estate mansion on Saturday by the IRT, headed by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Abba Kyari.
The video showed the officers dancing and singing along to Tekno’s song, Yawa.
