Nigerian athlete Blessing Okagbare got people shouting “oh my God” in Oslo, Norway when her wig fell off her head as she jumped during a competition that is part of IAAF Diamond League. The 28-year-old Beijing 2008 Olympic silver medalist nevertheless recorded a jump of 6.21 metres to finish seventh, but her wig was nearly half a metre behind her.
She later played the embarrassing incident down on her Instagram account, saying: “It is what it is.”
