The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamd Kanu on Tuesday got a heroic welcome when he stormed Port-Harcourt, the Rivers State capital. It was the type that those recognised by the Presidency as Igbo leaders would not get.
In a video obtained by CHECKPOINTCHARLEY, the IPB leader was greeted and hailed in Igbo language by a cheering crowd
He was called ‘Igwee’ (King) and ‘Ebubedike’ (the great one that inspires awe) as he waved at his cheerers as his vehicle slowly on.
The purpose of Mr. Kanu’s visit to Port Harcourt is yet to be disclosed.
