
Despite earning over $700 billion dollars from oil export alone since independence, videos have emerged online showing the Gate ‘D’ Departure area of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport, Lagos flooded by a heavy downpour that flowed directly through the damaged roofs notwithstanding budgetary allocations for its maintenance.

The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), headquartered at the same airport, is the agency that is statutorily charged to manage all Commercial Airports in Nigeria and provide service to both passenger and cargo airlines.
