Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, has indicated that ailing President Muhammadu Buhari is recovering fast and will soon return to the country.
Mr. Osinbajo, who just returned from London where he visited the ailing Buhari, said this on Wednesday in a chat with State House correspondents before the start of the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council, FEC, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
He said he met with Mr. Buhari ” for well over an hour” and that the president is almost back to his normal self.
“He is in high spirit and is doing very well and recuperating.
“We had a very good time” and good conversation,” Osinbajo said.
The Acting President also said that he briefed Buhari on the developments in Nigeria.
Osinbajo returned to Abuja on Tuesday night.
