A 30-year-old man, Kwadwo Robert has died in Asare in the Jaman South District of Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana after reportedly eating the meet of a pregnant cat.
Kwadwo, popularly known as Asampian in his community, was said to have started putting up a strange behaviour after he ate the cat meat.
According to Daily Guide Ghana, Kwadwo Robert was invited by his friend, Kofi Tawiah to his house yesterday to help him kill a cat that belonged to a community member.
They were said to have realised the cat was pregnant fetuses after they had killed it but went ahead to prepare the meat for consumption.
After eating the meat, Kwadwo started behaving strangely, the newspaper said..
It was reported that he was crawling on the ground like a cat and making strange gestures.
