Despite assurances by Barcelona captain, Pique that Neymar is going nowhere, the Brazilian forward has reportedly agreed terms with big-spending Paris Saint-Germain to join the French side on a six-year contract.
According to the deal, Brazillian will earn a whopping £500m per week – total cost £352m. £196m release clause + £156m wages
Carlos Carpio of Marca, said that Neymar’s father recently met with PSG sporting director Antero Henrique and board member Sophie Jordan to finalise the transfer.
Carpio suggested the deal will go through when PSG “deposit the €222 million of [Neymar’s] termination clause, which it appears will be done via the personal sponsorship of Qatar.”
