Ag President Osinbajo To Swear In 2 New Ministers Wednesday Three Months After Senate Confirmation

Acting President Yemi Osinbajo

The Presidency confirmed Tuesday night that Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, sabotaged by the conspiracies of a cabal within Aso Villa, will finally swear in on Wednesday two new ministers three months after their confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.

Mr. Osinbajo’s spokesperson, Laolu Akande confirmed this via a tweet, saying that the two ministers would be inaugurated on Wednesday before the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.

“AgP Osinbajo would be swearing in the two new ministers already confirmed by the Senate tomorrow morning @ start of the Federal Exco meeting,” Mr. Akande stated on his official twitter handle.

The Ministers to be sworn in are Stephen Ocheni and Suleiman Hassan. Both were confirmed by the Senate in April.

Mr. Ocheni will replace the late former Minister of State for Labour, James Ocholi, while Hassan is to replace Amina Mohammed who resigned as Minister of Environment to take on an appointment as United Nations Deputy Secretary-General.
