BREAKING: President Buhari Lands In Abuja, Shuns Guard Of Honour

President Muhammadu Buhari has returned back to Nigeria after over 100 days’ medical sojourn in London, United Kingdom.

The presidential aircraft, NAF 001, that conveyed the President landed at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at about 4.35pm.

Mr. Buhari was received on arrival by top government officials led by the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.

He mounted the rostrum and took the national salute before the men of the Brigades of Guard.

However the president declined to inspect the Guard of Honour mounted for him. Instead he proceeded straightaway to the presidential lodge with dignitaries who were at the airport to receive him.
