With President Muhammadu Buhari shying away from his responsibility, Music star, 2Face Idibia has visited an internally displaced persons’ camp in Makurdi, Benue State on Wednesday.
The singer and his wife Annie Idibia arrived the camp in the morning and donated items to thousands of families who had been displaced by flood.
The ‘African Queen’ Crooner, who is also from Benue, is scheduled to perform under the Benue Flood Relief Initiative.
About 110,000 families in Benue were displaced by flood two weeks ago, following torrential downpour.
Up till now President Buhari has not deemed it fit to travel to Benue to comfort the victims. And no official has done that on his behalf.
