Ireland based Nigerian lawyer turned Journalist, Commuincations strategist, mediator and conflict resolutionist, Nwabuogo Enwerem recently travelled to the troubled spots in Nigeria for a radio documentary and photography on lives of internally displaced persons in their settlements in Kafanchan, Kaduna State, Eleghusi, Lagos State, Nassarawa State and the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
Her aim was to tell the stories of those displaced people through photography. On Thursday in Fingal, Dublin Ireland, her documentary, ” Rebuilding a new life: A story of Internally Displaced Persons” was launched at Blanchardstown Library, with the Mayor of Fingal, Mary McCamley as the guest of honour.
Mrs Enwerem tells in the documentary the real stories of IDPs in Nigeria, which main stream media will not report. Watch out for the radio documentary coming out early November.
