A man, simply identified as Chidom from Ozochi, Ahoada East L.G.A of Rivers State, has allegedly committed suicide after testing positive to HIV.
According to a Facebook user, Ideozu Hanson, who claimed to come from the same community with Chidom, said the deceased decided to hang himself after he tested positive to HIV.
Hanson wrote,”His name is Chidom from Ozochi community in Ahoada East LGA, Rivers State. This just happened in my neighbourhood in Ahoada. He decided to hang himself just because he tested positive to HIV, after discovering his status, he said he was going to kill himself and he did. He left four children and a wife. He is still hanging in d bush as I post.”
