The 10-year-old boy, Somto Ibeanusi, who was killed by security operatives sent by Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha to enforce the demolition of the Eke Ukwu ancestral market of Owerri people in August, was on Wednesday buried, amid tears.
He was buried at his hometown in Umunnealam Ukwuofor, Nnewi, Anambra State.
Somto was killed by a soldier’s bullet when he went to his parent’s shop in the market to remove their goods during the demolition of the market, despite the fact that a suit against the demolition was still pending in court.
May his soul find eternal rest.
