Nigerian music star, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has said he is disappointed over the news circulating in internet that he was involved in the death of his friend, Tagbo Umeike.
Davido in a series of messages via his Snapchat registered his disappointment over false information circulating on social media that he and his crew abandoned the body of Tagbo, at a hospital in Lagos and absconded.
According to him, people were mean for accusing him.
This was the result he got from treating people like brothers, the pop star regretted.
But he offered his condolences and said that out of respect for Tagbo, he won’t discuss the matter further.
Nollywood actress, Caroline Danjuma, had alleged that Davido and his friends dumped Tagbo’s body at the Hospital after he died in his car Tuesday night.
Tagbo Umeike wrote on his Facebook profile that he was a graduate of the Lagos State University.
