Barely hours after the Lagos State Police Command re-invited Davido over the death of his freind, Tagbo Umeike, the music star has again denied having a hand in his death.
Davido, in a statement released on his behalf by his solicitors, maintained his innocence as he told his own side of the story.
Davido stated that when Tagbo started behaving funny after taking 40 shots of Tequila, he advised that he should allow someone drive him home. A gesture, Tagbo rebuffed, he said.
He also released CCTV footage of events shortly before Tagbo died, showing when they were leaving Shasha Nite Club Lekki. According to him, he and others tried to help Tagbo.
