President Buhari on Monday responded to public outrage and has ordered the immediate sack of the secretly reinstated fugitive former pension boss, Abdulrasheed Maina.
This was disclosed by the president’s media aide, Femi Adesina in a tweet.
Mr. Adesina tweeted that President Buhari ordered the immediate disengagement of Maina and ordered for the report of the circumstances that led to his recall.
Maina was declared wanted by EFCC and INTERPOL over $2.1 billion fraud allegedly committed while he was head of the pension.
