While, the greedy elite feed fat on the commonwealth, the downtrodden masses often rely on the crumbs that fall off the table of their oppressors for survival. However, one Edo woman ran out of luck as she tried to get a share of those crumbs.
She was battered and left with a swollen eye by one Oduma, said to be a Senior Special Assistant (to either Edo State Gvernor, Godwin Obaseki or his deputy – not specified). The SSA was accused of battering the woman, from his constituent in Etsako Central, over crumbs that dropped from the table of the Deputy Governor’s wife. It was meant to be a “donation” to women from the deputy governor’s wife.
The victim’s name was given as Josephine Etokhana.
