Google has honoured late Nigerian literary giant, Chinua Achebe with a doodle, marking what would have been Achebe’s 87th birthday today, November 16.
Achebe is being remembered by the tech giant as an important figure of 20th century literature.
The author of the famous book, Things Fall Apart died in March of 2013 at the age of 82.
Though he was denied the Nobel Prize for literature for political reasons, but he won numerous literary prizes that included the Man Booker International Prize, St. Louis Literary Award and the Peace Prize of the German Book Trade.
