A Federal High Court in Lagos has ordered the arrest of former Governor of Enugu State, Chimaroke Nnamani, who was charged with an alleged fraud of N5.3bn.
Justice Chuka Obiozor issued the bench warrant against the ex-governor after Mr. Nnamanu failed to appear in court on Monday for his scheduled re-arraignment.
According to the trial judge, lawyer to Nnamani failed to justify his client’s absence.
