
President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after participating at the ‘One Planet’ summit in Paris, France.
Mr. Buhari had left the country on Monday.
His aircraft touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport (NAIA), Abuja around 4:35pm on Thursday.
He was received by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Mohammed Bello.
The summit with the theme ‘Climate Change Financing’, was attended by over 60 heads of state and governments, as well as representatives of non-governmental and private organisations.
During the summit, President Buhari appealed to the international community to support Nigeria’s commitment to reduce the negative effects of climate change.
