The administrative block of National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) headquarters, located at Olusegun Obasanjo Way, Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, was on Friday ravaged by fire.
The fire reportedly started at about 6:20 a.m. but a source is saying the fire service officials arrived late.
The Director General of the Agency, Mojisola Adeyeye, have said that the cause of the fire was still unknown.
“The major cause of the fire is still unknown but we are currently investigating it and we hope to know the source of it very soon.
“The fire majorly affected the administration floor but like I said, we are still investigating the source,” she said.
Mrs. Adeyeye resumed duty this month, following the approval of her appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari.
