Yussuf, son of President Muhammadu Buhari, who sustained serious head injuries in a motorbike accident in Abuja on Tuesday, has been reportedly flown out of Nigeria for medical care his father and the ruling class denied ordinary Nigerians.
It is unclear which country he was taken to, but TheCable reported that he was flown out early Thursday morning.
The president’s only son also broke his limb in the Tuesday night accident.
Yusuf Buhari was still unconscious at the Cedacrest hospital in Abuja, the nation’s capital as at Wednesday night.
Due to corruption and mismanagement by the ruling class, an ordinary Nigerian who sustained the same injuries like Yusuf would have been dead by now.
Despite hundreds of billions of dollars earned from oil exports since independence, the average Nigerian cannot access affordable quality health care.
