The Benue People held a memorial Thursday and later a mass burial for the 75 victims whose lives were cut short by Fulani herdsmen in recent attacks in the state.
The state governor, Samuel Ortom, members of the state executive council and residents in the state were at the burial site as they honoured the dead and said goodbye.
The remains of the deceased persons mainly women and children have been laid to rest at the Industrial Layout, along Naka Road, Makurdi.
