A White Paper released by Ekiti State Government on Monday barred ex-governor, Kayode Fayemi, from holding a public office in the state for 10 years.

Also barred for the same number of years is Fayemi’s former Commissioner for Finance, Mr. Dapo Kolawole.

The Ekiti Judicial Commission of Inquiry indicted the duo over alleged mismanagement of the state’s finances between October 2010 and 2014, the report said.

The report declared the two men “as unfit to hold any public office in the state.‎”

Fayemi, currently Minister of Mines and Steel Development, was the governor during that period.
