Members of the Indigenious People of Biafra IPOB, on Saturday defied President Muhammadu Buhari’s government and held a protest march in Aba, Abia state.
The protesters demanded a referendum from the government on whether “Biafrans” still want to be part of Nigeria.
The Federal Government had on September 2017 proscribed the group’s activities, describing it as a terrorist organization.
