President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met with a national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu inside the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Also present at the meeting is a chieftain of the party, Chief Bisi Akande.
This comes barely hours after former President Olusegun Obasanjo publicly asked Buhari not to seek reelection in 2019.
Tinubu and Akande met with the president for about an hour and refused to speak to State House correspondents after the meeting.
Recall that the two men were absent at the last Thursday’s night dinner hosted by President Buhari for APC chieftains across the country.
