In fantastically corrupt Nigeria, a lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife, Prof. Rev. Richard Akindele, has been recorded demanding sex from a female student before she could pass his course.
In a recorded phone call made to the professor by the student, the professor demanded that the student have sex with him 5 times so that he can upgrade her score from 33 to a pass mark. It is understood that the lecturer, who claims he is a pastor, purposefully failed the female student in order to get her in his bed.
In the four-minute audio shared on Twitter, the professor was also heard accusing the female student of lying about doing her monthly period earlier, in her bid to avoid sleeping with him. He then added, ‘so now that you have finished you period, has your boyfriend done it’?

Sex for marks is notorious in Nigeria’s institutions of higher learning.
Nigeria is a country, where someone has to get something before you get admission in the first place; somebody also needs to get something before you can graduate and at the end before you could get a job after you leave school, some kind of bribe will also demanded.
